Not once did I read that Jones was a ***** for doing that. Its prob those same people that are calling Oscar a ***** right now too. LOL Hypocrites I tell ya.

I agree...this height difference is the same as cotto v. margarito...or williams v. quintana...

people make too much of the height difference...the weight difference isnt an issue at all in my opinion since pacman comes in at 146-147 on fight night in his last couple fights and looks extremely well defined at that...

I agree with you on the fact that pacman did lobby for this fight and he got this fight. I highly doubt pacman would lobby for a fight he didnt believe he could win...

I think this fight will be much more competitive than what the popular boxingscene vote would dictate.

Pacquaio isnt THEE p4p champ of the world for nothing...

he has clear advantages against oscar like youth, speed, endurance, etc.

Oscar has the wisdom, power, and natural talent but that can only carry you so far against a younger, faster fighter.

I see oscar jumping out to a big lead early then as oscar fades out (as he usually does in fights down the stretch) I see pacman making a comeback to close the gap...I see him falling short in the end in about an 8 rounds to 4 rounds loss or even a 7 rounds to 5 rounds loss.

If pacman can survive the inital onslaught of oscar's early pressure and power then he has a chance to close the gap down the stretch

I still see this fight for oscar but I see it as a close fight for oscar...

How the hell did De La Joto become an all-time great, a legend, just how?

One of the best of his era, yes.

Excuse me, but losing 98% of the biggest fights you've been involved in does not make one a legend. A carefully, well-crafted career does not make one an all-time great. 6 division world champ my @ss.

I guess Arturo Gatti should also be a legend. I mean, just look at the guy's resume, Hoya, Mayweather Jr. I mean, c'mon, that resume are what legends are made of.

Anna Kournikova should also be a tennis legend because she remained in the top 10 tennis rankings for most of her career, nevermind not ever winning a single major tennis title, but she rolled in more endorsements compared to everyone else when she was around.

Oscar is a slap to the faces of Hagler, Leonard and Ali.

I know my history, but i'm just not perfect and make mistakes. funny i dont remember people crying for DLH after Mayweather beat his ass, and oh yeah he went up to 154 to fight him and only weighting 150 when he whooped his ass. But please, show me when a fighter called out and baited another fighter into fighting for the first time at 2 weightclasses higher( at about 12 pounds over what he's fought before, and at a 15+ deficit on fight night) simply because he doesn't have the balls or ability to fight someone his size anymore. I'm not a DLH hater, I'm a huge fan. I know DLH was able to take it to B-Hop for the first half of their middleweight fight and looked good at it at 160. He's fighting Pacman cause he just doesn't want to take a big loss and believes that Pacman is too small to do it but still technically weak enough for him to beat. I disagree. In the end I have lost all respect for a fighter that i thought was all heart, but seems to have lost much of it,

By that time everybody knew the fight was getting made. Im talking about the people who started this ****, pinoys would come from pacland and post articles written by the pinoy press asking and pressing Delahoya. Pac and has fans and homeland got what they wanted now they'll cry for pac.
Sounds to me like you're already making excuses for Oscar if he loses. lol
Look , it's a win win situation for PAC.
If he loses, great, he lose to a junior middleweight. It won't diminished much of his stature.NOBODY WILL CRY like you keep on wshing, I guarantee you that.
But If he wins, he'll be one of the best fighter of all time if not the best fighter of this era and will uphold his reputation as the Mexican Assasin(ouch, i hope i didn't hit a nerve)

Yep, and DLH already had his tune-up with Sturm at 160 prior to facing B-Hop. Tito already faced Joppy at 160lbs prior to facing B-Hop.

Pac is an old man killer not a mexi****ioner. Funny how Marquez hurt pacquioa so many times, man i hope Delahoya put him on the ground with a jab just like Hussain put Pac on canvas with a jab.

Pac is a Mexicutioner.. It's funny how you say Pac got hurt but nothing close of getting knockdown while Marquez was getting dropped 4 times..

Pac is the MExicutioner.. He won't make you look ****** if it isnt.. Look at yourself Ferocity, you look like a ****** donkey here.At least Mexicans can avenge their HOF.. Too bad they called out a giant to kill a former flyweight.. At least something Mexicans can be proud off.
