    Stop the catchweight Bull****..

I am tired of seing boxers that can't make weight be allowed to fight a catchweight. It isn't fair for the fighters or the fans. These boxers gain 10 pounds and expect to be just as fast and have alot more power. And the bigger guy just waits and takes these pittypat punches and catch the smaller man coming in. Trinidad/RJJ ,Pavlik/Hopkins, Mayweather/De La Hoya, Pacman/De La Hoya, Margarito/Cotto..LOL.

agreed. as if their isn't enough weight divisions. 170 is 2 pounds away from super middle. if you cant make an extra 2 pounds, then you are not dedicated enough to be boxing professionally anymore. many can do it, but opt not to knowing that the media and networks do not give a ****. b-hop and roy, two of my faves, are guilty of this the most, and i wish they would stop it. hopefully roy retires anyway and b-hop keeps it at 175...

I don't have a problem with it, unless there is a title at stake. If your fighting for a world title the weight limit for that class should be it. For example, Hopkins having to make 157 to defend the middleweight title against DLH was total bull****.
