I dont know guys......I've been a huge fan of DLh in the past and cant help but love Pacman.But...Dlh was left in the dark looking for a fight after Mayweather retired..He found Pacman and then all of a sudden he said this fight was personnal.....?I feel like we are being robbed by a sceme to make a fortune?Anyone else feel this way?I cant take this fight that serious because DLh is so much about $$ now than ever..Anyone else agree?I cant even get that hype about the fight..

Yeah I feel that way also. I wonder if they have some sort of agreement? So they will both come out looking good. Who know's?

I cant even get excited about this fight..I mean of course I'm gonna watch it but still.......I used to love DLH until he got so involved in Golden Boy promotions. Its hard not to love Pacman.Where does DLH get his credibility anymore? He lost about all of his last few fights.....well he did beat Forbes

Outside of liking Oscar Dela Hoya I agree with you completely. They HAVE TO sell it someway but the marketing does seem extremely contrived.

I will NOT buy this fight and I've bought the last two ppv'. Not only is this fight a sham, it just shows what I've always considered Oscar to be, a greedy, calculated, right complexion for the connection type of guy.

Dela Hoya fans LOVE to say, "he's taken on all comers". I say, thats total crap. Who cares he fought Hopkins when he made $35 million for that fight, some risk.

He's also avoided fighting Forrest at welter and Winky at Jr Middle. Both of those fights even now were "makeable" fights but we know Dela isn't going to put himself up where there is too much risk. The dude is one of the biggest "two faced" individuals that somehow has a positive image amongst fans and the media I've ever seen.

I guess folks have forgotten the following

"I'll be launching a full through, complete investigation"post Mosley II comments

Freddie has me in the best shape of my life" pre Mayweather fight, "I had a torn rotator cuff" after the Mayweather fight.

            "I won't fight a Puerto Rican"/ "I won't fight another Mexican"

"I want to fight the winner of Margarito vs Cotto"

Those are just a few of the biggest $3 bill there is.

They are both too nice. There's no edge to it, so it seems contrived.

DLH has always been about money. And padding his record with names. Pacquiao is just the latest to collect his paycheck. I guess it's a good thing - Oscar's feeding the boxers. Until you begin to realize it's your pockets he's stealing from.

Oscar is very fortunate to be who he is. This guy has to go fight a smaller guy just to go out with a win.

                    What a shame!

I do so hope that Pac KO's DLH
