    Calzaghe's Greatness...

The Glove has been doing some thinking...oh yes, I've been thinking about Joe Calzaghe and his claim to greatness.

Heres The Glove's question to you, how is Calzaghe an ATG?

He beat a washed up Jones, an very old Hopkins and an old Eubank. The rest of the jabronis he beat are not even decent fighters. Unless you are going to judge his greatness on wins over Kessler and Lacy, which are not greats. I really don't see how you can make the claim that hes an ATG. Sure the little jabroni is undefeated, but he beating Richie Woodhall. Fact remains, hes never beaten a great fighter in their prime, over even close to their prime.

Hopkins put on arguably his best performance, a fight after losing to Calzaghe.

You guys are right, B-Hop did look good against Pavlik. The Glove gives Joe that.

But do you people really believe, that B-Hop was as good at 43, as he was at 36?

You are as good as your last performance says you are.

Which means Calzaghe beat a great fighter who is still more than capable of putting in a great performance.

But thats the thing, The Glove did not see a great performance.

The Glove saw him pull out a tough decision. How good could this jabroni be!!

every time he steps in the ring with someone great(even if its only a name at that point), hes on his ass!!!
