Because he decided to take his time and get a bit of heavyweight time in the ring instead of rattling him with punches at risk of burning himself out against a decent heavyweight contender...he looks 'utter ****'?

Its not really his fault that Monte kept getting back up.

and he didn't look 'utter ****' wtf are you talkin about? He knocked him down 5 times in 5 rounds, not bad for only your second fight at HW.

      ****in morons.

knocked him down 5 times yet couldn't finish him as fast as Couser did last year. He couldn't finish a 2001-2002 has been...and you guys are calling this kunt the next big thing in the hw division ? You're all deluded.

Vitali Klitoris will give you people a major reality check when he'll be confronted by him. But again , don't get me wrong. The Klitschkos are a plague for the hw division. especially vitali. (who should've stayed retired)

5 knockdowns and a knockout against a decent contender is impressive. It has to be.

Would you have required him to punch him to death within 5 seconds in order to be impressed?

I don't buy it. this fight was supposed to be haye's opportunity to make an impact. He didn't do it. end of story. i'll be nice..he would've made an impact with a second round finish too. But the whole fight was average at best.

If haye isn't a hype job , he certainly fought like one yesterday.
Just wait and see...he'll eventually get murdered by vitali.

You're expcetation levels are too high. Past his best or not Barrett is a solid professional who is still a gatekeeper to bigger things in that division. Knocking him down 5 times on route to a 5 round knockout is a good performance for your first real step up to heavyweight. Could've took him out sooner, ref could've stopped it sooner, but Haye was being cautious and looking for the big finish. Barrett went down at least once to avoid a bigger punch that could've stopped it coming behind. You're being silly if you think thats completely unimpressive.

The guy almost got Koed by a guy who's been a shadow of his former self since 2002. not to mention that it took him 5 ****ing rounds to finish his ass. Even Couser did a better job. (though he lost the rematch).

No wonder Vitali is now going ape **** and wants a fight with Haye.

I'm actually starting to hate vitali because his only goal is to ruin the HW division. He doesn't want to unify ****...he just wants the monopoly of the division with his brother... Vitali was smilling yesterday because he knows he'd annihilate that guy..

Haye is a fun and entertaining guy but he also happens to be pretty deluded. I'd love to see him fight wlad though. Because he has a chance against him.

If he actually beats wlad at least it'll add a tiny suspense (before he gets killed by vitali)

                Who nearly got ko`d? Haye?

                Dont be silly.

This thread is a waste of Internet space.

If Haye won in the first round, you would be the first people saying that it proves nothing because Barrett is a bum. With people like you, nobody can ever win.
