  • You guys need to understand Margarito had a good chance at taking 3, 7 but didn't.

      I had it 117, 111

By the way, Lederman had 116, 112 for Margarito
and 1 Judge had it 116 to 112

See the difference is Lederman gave round 7 to Margarito

Note: Round 7 being one of the rounds Margarito could have possibly won in my opinion.
well if margarito wins the last round the fight ends in an official draw. I knew going into the 12th if margarito would win the round he would ever win the fight or get a draw as soon as the 12th round ended i didn't think margarito would win on points. The twelve round decided the fight. I think there's more cards that have margarito winning then not. I know there was a thread of all the press rows scores for that fight and most had margarito winning. It's all opinion though so eh whatever. The rematch will come soon enough.

As much as I'd like to see the rematch it'd kind of be a dumb option for Paul. What I mean is...Margarito and Arum haven't said a thing, Not even a "Its a possibility" Paul shouldn't waste his time sticking around the WW division...If I were him I'd move on, There always 154/160...I don't see any fighter who could possibly beat Paul at 154 besides possibly Martinez.

Unlike you, I don't hate ANY fighter. I just want to see a rematch. But for some reason, Margarito doesn't want it. And I don't blame him....
I have a fighter i root for as well but your argument is still hypocrytycal cause you still are biased towards williams vs Antonio, and you do like Sweet Pee"peeleft:Whitaker in a form of way, you still root for him, since you have his picture, its either you somehow cheer for whitaker or you enjoy looking at what you think is his sexy image and named yourself after whitaker, if you are a whitaker fan , that makes you a lier cause hes your fighter and you just claimed you got no fave fighter, thats awesome, huh"peeleft: sweet pee

Yeah but even tough 9-3 isn't too far away from 10-2...Even 10-2 would be pushing it considering how Paul clearly got beaten in round 8, 10 and 11.

the fight will happen soon but goosen is an idiot if he thinks he's going to push arum around and dictate the terms of the fight.

              • Hahaha damn. A lot of ****riders in this thread. I see a lot of confrontational kids with their pictures in their avatars that look like sweethearts. So ease up on the tough talk gangsters this is about boxing not your insecurity.

The fact that some people on here claim Margarito won the first fight or that it was even close makes me laugh. It just goes to show you that throwing punches and coming forward equates winning a round opposed to cleanly outboxing somebody and making them look like an amateur.

Clottey refused to fight Williams in November, and recently said he wants Margarito not Paul. It was his manager who flapped his gums as a Top Rank attempt to discredit Paul, only to never be heard from again after the Williams camp offered them the November 29th date.

Boxing fans today compared to in the past are pathetic. Instead of being fans of the sport, they are blind ****riders who swear up and down on things they know nothing about. Here's what I know. Williams was green with no amateur experience or big fights and he gave Margarito a boxing lesson. He has only gotten better, and is sitting on his punches showing more one punch power then Margarito ever did. Let's see Margarito move up to 160 and KO Kolle in one round, a durable MW that had never been down or hurt. Margarito couldn't handle 154. Williams would mop up Mosley or Cotto. Too much size and too good of a chin for both fighters.

He is taking on a champion that just beat Spinks. A tough, durable fighter. So if he knocks him out, I wonder what excuses the Margarito and Cotto fans will come up with next.

Bringing up Quintana makes you look ******. Destroying a guy in one round and putting him on ice twice within minutes is a lot more dominating then winning a close decision when Paul didn't look on what so ever. Maybe if Quintana actually beats a name like Clottey or somebody (doubt it) that fight will come off.

In the meantime Paul is willing to fight Pavlik, is Margarito?? Of course not. He couldn't handle Santos. Arum wants Cotto to beat Margarito so he can match him up with guys like Mayweather, DLH, Pacquiao etc. It's all about money, not who is the best fighter. And not money for Margarito, because he would make more fighting Williams then anybody, money for Arum. Rogelio, it's cool you're a huge fan of Margarito. But stop talking tough if that is you in your avatar who the **** are you kidding?? Go back to reality. This forum is about boxing, not lightweights who are soft in society and act on here like raw killers.

Sure I have fighters that I like. But unlike you, I have no hate for a single boxer.
Maybe PWill kicked your dog, and slapped your sister or something, hence your hate.
Margarito won me $600 when he beat Cotto. So trust me, I have nothing but love for him.
