Bika is limited, but he is so wild he can turn any fight into a scary one. He rushes in with his head and arms flailing. He is a good stamina test for anyone.

He is not a walk in the park for anyone either. He is strong, awkward and can make the most composed fighter, fight his fight.
damn that sig of the Pretender is hilarious

Bika presents a solid test but very winnable match-up for Jermain

Most importantly... Bika is NOT best friends with Jermain, thus we could see if Jermain is really just a good, generous friend, or if he's really lost his killer instinct

        Thoughts?
A great potential match up. Bika is a fighter that gets better with age and has learned to use his power. Taylor would have problems with Mr. Contender.

maybe, but rough fighters like him can really irritate some of the best fighters. he gave Calzaghe quite a bit of trouble in the later rounds, which not a ton of people have done.

I think Taylor is going to fight Inkin, Lacy-Taylor was an eliminator, right?

It would be an excellent test for Jermain. In this fight we would see if he sticks to boxing and his jab or fall into his old bad habbits and start to wing more. I think this fight would be fire works.

                Bika is an ugly fight.
Jermain needs to look good on the re-develpment trail.
Against Bika he would win a UD but look like bad in the process.

Lacy-Taylor was an eliminator for the Froch/Pascal winner, who will have the vacant WBC belt.

HBO hyping a fight with Joe seems odd. Considering Taylor a few years later, beat a worser Lacy than Joe did. And is now looking to face one or two other guys Joe has already beaten.

Bika is ok, tough but not clever or tight enough to out point Taylor. I can't see Jerman getting caught too many times either, so a reasonably clear win for Taylor. Goodish fight.

hm wonder why I kept thinking it was for the WBO.

Id rather Taylor just skip these tune ups and fight Kessler, muahahahah.
...if Kessler ever fights anyone worthwhile again.
