I have the fight recorded from Setanta, and while Barrett did slightly connect with the top of Hayes head it was only after Hayes foot went from underneath him. Haye would have went down regardless if the punch has connected or not. Totally off balance.

It was not ruled a KD anyway, so I don't class it as a KD.

he went down from a punch, so it's a KD lol. if he was off balance thats his problem. btw that gif. was an example of how wild haye was in there. power was impressive but nothing much apart from that. he needs to improve his skills or he's gonna get cought out by the klits.

Haye was totally dominant in his first real Heavyweight test. He did lots of things right and only a few things wrong. So to say that his power was his only impressive trait is incorrect. Yes he needs to pick his shots a little better and keep calm but if you have just put the other guy on his arse, you need to get him out of there.

He may get beat by the Klits but at least it will be exciting and not the borefest much of boxing has become.

I wasn't implying it was any more than a flash kd - more adding Haye's own thoughts to the thread. I thought it was a slip at the time too.
