why do so many HW bottle it or have mental issues?

Monte Barrett clearly let the occasion get to him he was acting like a child at the press conference imo cause he was showing signs of nerves/preasure even his ring walk screamed let me get this over with so i can stop feeling so nervous and under preasure he fell over the rope FFS then he was terrified to let his hands go jeez

    Mike Tyson

    Danny Williams

    Andrew Golota

I think its because they are from poor backgrounds.....and because they didnt try at school. De la hoya is an anomaly and needs further research.

Heavyweight = 1 punch KO potential.

Any one punch can take you out which makes them extra nervous, especially when you're fighting someone like Wladimir and Haye like Thompson and Barrett were.

Good question. Does seem to be a disproportionate amount of heavy's w/ issues than the lighter guys.

I remember Bruce Curry (Donald's brother) having mental health problems. Charlie "Devil" Green, a lightheavyweight from the 1970's had a breakdown and killed some people if I remember right. Middleweight Randy Turpin, who fought Ray Robinson, killed himself, as did lightheavyweight Freddie Mills.

                  Tony Ayala is not right.

As for heavyweights, don't forget Trevor Berbick.
