Haye needs to beat Peter before taking on Klitchko

1 fight then one of the Klitchko ?

I know marketing wise it makes sense, but one more win against say a Sam Peter or similar past title holder is what Haye needs beforehand

With the kind of power Peter has, he will KO Haye with the first clean shot he lands.

I agree, and I don't think he can. He's still never even fought, let alone beat, any top rated heavyweight, so what's all this BS about him fighting the champs?

Exactly what ive been saying on previous threads..
Peter would be perfect.Makes no sense going for either Kilt next.
what 2 fights at heavy and then you go for a shot at the title
He needs to work his way there..Peter would be ideal.

On the other hand danger move as well cause if he gets knocked out
theres no shot at either Klitty....

I reckon haye feeds on bums like Barrett while avoiding anyone dangerous
and then takes his chances at maybe VK first....

Man take awhile and realize wha you posted. I kno he's got some power to be able to KO an old Maskaev, take down a fat and old Toney in a rematch and the power to take a McDonalds hostage and not leave til he eats all the food. Peter is jus a name that contenders can put on their resumes now, kinda like Brock or Byrd or Golota. It's sad cuz I saw potential in the guy when he got that KO of Julius Long on ESPN I was like dude can throw! Now we hav fat guys with power who took his spot like Odlanier and Arreola. Haye shouldn't fight him, Johnson or Brewster would be good fights for him in late Feb.

                why not dimentrenko or povetkin...
peter offers haye nothing apart from power
fight an actual contender to further legitimize getting a title shot so soon

he would never fight peter anyway high risk little reward

Maybe he'd fight Peter if he could find him. Peter hasn't shown his face in public ever since his public humiliation delivered by Vitali. I think he might be retired, it wouldn't be the first time.
