i thought he'd work on his defense jumping up to heavy but he didn't show it.

he hold his left low like that against wlad or vitali he's getting ktfo.

but......the limeys are telling me he just wasn't worried about his defense with monte and it'll be different with higher level heavies...we'll see......

all i know is i don't see any difference between haye at cruiser and haye at heavy. that just won't do...... if he doesn't keep his hands up he's gonna get ktfo guaranteed.

There was one that should have been called a knockdown for certain.

Barrett didn't knock Haye down at all, they were in a clinch and Barrett pushed him back and Haye hit the floor then Barrett swung for Haye when he was down

imo your not going to see punk haye fight any meaningfull hvwt.
he's going to stick with the fringe hvwt fighters.

So we are ruling slips as KDs now then?

How about you give Haye some credit as you predicted him to get Knocked out tonight...nah, thought not.

Well, as Haye guaranteed, it was eventful and great to watch, unlike to under cards, i flipped to Setanta 2 and watched UFC countdown!

Haye proved he could carry his power through, looked impressive, and did what he said he would do and made it fun to watch.

Still, he didn't take a proper heavyweight bunch, Monty is...yes, old, a blown up heavyweight in an age of giants, but is still rated top 10 and off a 3 win streak which can't be ignored.

Mega fight(s) next year, if Haye can put on a but more weight, stack a bit more clean power (he looked a bit tired to wards end rounds) and crucially maintain his speed i truly think he could trouble and frustrate either of the klitschko brothers, either way they both see the $ signs so doubt either of the camps care to much as would be rematches galore!
