Not sold on Haye's performance just yet...
I think that the both Klitchsko's will capitalize on the fact that Haye leaves that left hand so low. I wasn't all that impressed with his performance. Big punches but very leaky defense from what I saw. With that said, I still hope he makes a big impact in the heavyweight division. I do like Haye, but I think he needs to tighten up a bit. That ****iness is gonna get him knocked out.Comment

David Haye Destroys Monte Barrett, Knocks Him Out
At the O2 Arena in Greenwich, London, former undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye (22-1, 21KOs) re-debuted in the heavweight division and blasted Monte Barrett (34-7, 20KOs) down five-times on route to a fifth-round knockout win. The win sets the stage for a possible showdown with either Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko in 2009. [details]Comment

Trust me I know he's gunna have to do a lot more to beat either one of those guys, but for this fight itself, he showed some good stuff. Speed, power at HW against a worthy opponent like Monte, obviously he's not Vitali or Wlad, but I think Haye has all the potential in the world to be a force.Comment
