Ricky Hatton: "I'll Retire if Paulie Malignaggi Beats Me"

Floyd Mayweather Sr., new trainer of junior welterweight Ricky Hatton, has made Ricky cut down on the drinking and promises that everyone will see an improved Hatton when he steps in the ring against Paulie Malignaggi on November 22. Ricky says that he can't afford to lose to Malignaggi. If he loses the fight, he will probably retire and walk away from the sport. [details]

    Dear Paulie,

Do our wonderful sport a justice by defeating and retiring this clown! They got some wicked left hooks on ebay.......buy one and use it on this clown because he's vulnerable to that shot

    Good Luck,

    Sek

Sorry to hear that Ricky you've have a great career and have been a great ambassador to the sport. I would still like to see him fight Pacquia if he loses. And I hope this would not influence refs or judges in the fight.

All the people who are like 'Go on Paulie, retire this clown' are a bunch of ****ing idiots, sorry but it has to be said.

Hatton is one of the best 10stone fighters around, he's one of the biggest names in boxing, he's one of the UKs best fighters. What good would come out of him retiring? **** all, it would do alot of damage to boxing...in a time where it really needs all the stars it can get.
