Wasn't there a story to the Couser fight.

Something like one of Barrett's friends or family got murdered or something just before the fight.

Or did i imagine that?, i'm sure i heard that one way or the other Barrett had mental problems going into the fight.

Maybe he said that about the Rahman fight too but he avenged his loss in a rematch the very next fight and ko'ed Crazy Cliff.

I am just happy in the knowledge that I get a better per diem when travelling than Monte Barrett does, and I don't even have to fight anyone.

I think it takes a lot of nerve to complain about your per diem when all of that is stipulated in the contract he signed. $50 is pretty standard, in fact the undercard guys are probably on getting $30.

i think if you're wlad/vitali's handlers...... you'd prefer the tougher vitali against haye and the more polished wlad against the skilled gomez.
