Haye Barret Countdown... F.u.k. Bert Sugar

You always see this guy commenting on stuff when they do a piece on boxers, and he does have some interesting things to add from a historical standpoint when talking about fighters from the past BUT...

the guy has always pissed me off with his whole 1930's Capone wannabe style with his hat and ***in cigar, i just watched the Haye Barret countdown and in part 3 big suprise the guy is making Haye out to be a black superman and hating on the Eastern Euro's heavy's

Seriously can anyone explain the ***ish american unconditional support and total lovefest they have with black athlete's? I realize it's as certain as the sunrise but it's annoying as hell

Bert Sugar isn't trying to dress like Al Capone that just old school journalist attire with the hat and cigar.

I think he may be talking about the speed of Haye, I know the Kilitchkos would put a hurting on Haye, at least Wlad would, Vitali i hear looked old in his last fight.

Don't rely on that. You heard wrong. Even Wlad says Vitali is the better Klitschko.

Bert does exaggerate about the state of the HW's, and didn't he say Calzaghe should fight Tarver now, mighta been someone else but lmao.

It was Hagler who said that.

I don't think Bert Sugar follows boxing that closely anymore, I could be wrong but some of his opinions on recent events seem a bit ridiculous/outdated.

i think marvin hagler said that JC should fight tarver which i never understood - maybehe was taking the mick saying he should add the name of a past his prime fighter to his record.

yeah i think sugar was sightly damning in his verdict of the HW's.

imo the influx of unfashionable and non-cliche speaking eurpean heavyweights and far east fighters has occured not at the expense of good american heavyweights but in their absence. imo these european fighters have become a bit of a collective scapegoat for the american boxing fans (and journalists you could argue), whereas in reality america should look at themselves and ask why aren't we producing good american fighters and how can we change this?

everyone complaining about Slavs, give some serious thought as to what the division would look like without them chambers, thompson, rahman, holyfield, barrett, fields, brewster, arreola, toney, austin, walker, meehan

i'm dead serious when i say that if there were no East Euro's and the list above was the heavyweight division that there would be NO TALK OF A WEAK DIVISON and guys like chambers and austin and thompson would be compared to tyson lewis and bowe in fantasy matchups
