If Dimentreko is a prospect still, that label has to be removed after tonight provided there is no let down. He is a contender.

Here's Graham Houston's take on the fight:

So, with Krasniqi, you can never be quite sure what you are going to get. He was booed after the loss to Thompson and maybe he sees Saturday’s fight as a way of redeeming himself.

All this being said, Dimitrenko looks the logical winner. He has momentum going for him, he is the younger, bigger man (at 256-plus pounds he will outweigh Krasniqi by more than 30 pounds) and he knows that if the can keep the pressure on his 37-year-old opponent there is always the chance that the older man will weaken.

I see danger for Dimitrenko in the early rounds, though. I think that Krasniqi will be coming out with a lot of determination. I just don’t think that Krasniqi’s pride will let him pack it in when things get tough in this bout. His boxing ability, stiff left jab and solid right hands can give Dimitrenko trouble.

Dimitrenko, though, is quite heavy-handed and he has been fighting with increasing confidence and authority in recent bouts, showing the sort of aggression that Krasniqi sometimes lacks.

I can see Dimitrenko behind on points but coming on with pressure to wear down Krasniqi. I will be very surprised if Dimitrenko wins quickly but I think he can force Krasniqi out of the fight somewhere around the ninth round, at which point I think that Dimitrenko’s size and strength will have given him overwhelming control of the contest.

Hey Mogens Palle. You calling the fights until my stream comes up?
And p.s. get kessler a meaningful fight.

I am a Palle but I'm not Mogens

Perhaps I made a mistake rejecting the Dawson fight so emphatically in public....

My first priority would be Hopkins. Taylor would be quite low on my list as I think that's a fight Kessler would lose. But from a fan (and not a nuthugger position) Kessler-Taylor might be the best matchup for entertainment purposes.
