    imagine if this happens tonight

I mean Lacy here looks very good, hes fast, well composed, he counters the guys jab perfectly, has great power and killer instinct. Strange that 300 slaps in 1 fight (tho he got really beat up there) can dismantel that much. But maybe he has still 1 of these performance left in him? Surely this guy is no Jermain taylor, tho he has a similar movement in the ring, similar jab and the same height as well. Yeh i know, aint gonna happen, but i was wondering for a minute.

If Taylor turns up and fights like a journeyman with a 14-7 record Jeff may well look that good again.

well in the early rounds against Mendoza Lacy showed good handspeed catching him with crisp 1-2s. He showed a lot of heart for a 'shot' guy either, after being hurt by a lucky punnch on top of the head he kept firing. He was quite active too. True, he became sloppy after round 8 but still had some good punches. I was impressed tho, to see that all the power he should have seemed not to worry Mendoza that much after round 2...the guy ate many shots without many problems. Jermaine is a great fighter but tends to be a little stationary and he keeps his right hand too low when hes near his opponent...i dont know but both guys showed flaws and stamina problems in the late rounds, this could be closer than everybody seem to think, i feel itll be a good fight to watch and that somebody is going down even if they are friends.

Only thing is that Taylor is not Pope. I mean 14W 7L guy was just an opponent not a threat

Lacy has to get a new trainer. I don't know why he stays with the same trainer.

Lacy has a punchers chance but that's about it. I see Taylor winning by decision. Nice to see someone with a danny av finally the talent is recognized by another.
