I doubt having snr is gonna hurt Hatton at all.
I can see him learning and gaining a lot from snr...

I'd rather have him right now then Graham back in the corner...
Agreed. Imagine the fighter Ricky could have been if he'd had a proper trainer from the start.

It is what it is though mate..
He might of had a world class trainer from the start and not been where he is today..

Things work out for a reason you know yourself....

Looking forward to seeing a new and improved Ricky Hatton...

He sounds like he finally discovered what a real trainer is all about...i mean his punching the human stationary belly bag routine was strange to say the least. Looks also like Sr. took this job (aside for the money) to let the world see what hes capable of, given a bad habits but willing brawler of Ricky's type and change him in a more focused and organized thinking boxer, so hes prolly doing his best too. Lets see if this all translates well come fight night. Im still pulling for Paulie to win anyway...wouldnt be spectacular if the supposedly glass handed man has his right recovered and can catch flush Hatton with a big counterpunch and put him on his ass?

All Billy Graham did was the belly pad routine. All Mayweather did was the pitty pat routine. I know because I watched the 24/7 series which naturally showed us the entirety of their training routines.

im sure that wasnt the only thing they did, but while the pitty pat routine makes sense (trains reflexes) the belly one marely trains a bit of stamina while adding a false sense of security that you can get inside like that against a live opponent
