Exactly my thoughts. The heavies NEED a fighter like Haye. If he loses tonight, so does the whole division.

If Barrett beats Haye and Rahman beats Klitschko, we would have Barrett-Rahman 2 which would signal the complete collapse of heavyweight boxing forever. Lord, was #1 fight bad.

Shudder to think....but it could happen.

haha what about the WBA champion Evander Holyfield at ringside wanting the winner?

If we're honest the only one hyping David Haye is... David Haye. He's the best cruiserweight by far and it'd be nice to see a talker doing well as a heavyweight but I get the impression that most people are taking a "wait and see" approach to him. I expect him to do a number on Barrett and then take on someone higher up the WBO rankings in an eliminator. That seems to be the way things are shaping up.

Haye losing to Barrett would be a disaster for the immediate future of the heavyweight division. The heavies really need a rivalry and Haye - Klitschko provide that.

Anyone hear Haye saying to Wladimir in their stand off, last time a CW came up to HW it was Holyfield, and I'm bigger than him.

He certainly hypes himself, has some points though. If Haye had a tougher chin he'd be favoured much better against the top guys. Makes it exciting though.

Well in the WBO rankings Haye is 3rd, Povetkin will fight Wlad next year (he's 2nd in the rankings) and Dimitrenko is 1st but I doubt he really wants Wlad. So chances are Wlad will have to vacate in order to avoid fighting Haye.

He is bigger than Holyfield in terms of height, I think thats what he was talking about because Wlad asked Haye how much he weighed.
