How about me, i could make any weight he wished, im a little taller better reach but less experience, i could black up if it sells the fight better.

As for the positives he gets another win, i get £10 million plus possible brain damage.

      I think I've made a good case ...

        I think he should retire.

But consider this: A DeLaHoya v Pacquiao in reverse?

A catchweight made at around super-middle. I think Joe could get down to 168 still, and Oscar (providing he beats Pacman), beefing up to above 160.

It seems fantasy, but so did the pacman fight...

Oscar has fought at 160 remember, back in 2004.

I would accept fights against either of Dawson, Hopkins or Johnson. The Klit option in the poll is a joke right?

i think johnson has a good chance they have signed before but joe got injured so the bout never went ahead, calzaghe may view it as unfinished business like he did with RJJ.

whats more johnson has a good style for joe he is strong, tough, will go 12 rounds with joe but he would also allow joe to show his ability as the counterpuncher in a fight, and imo he looks better when he fights off the back foot then when he has to go forward. he is a credible opponent as well having good wins over tarver and RJJ and he imo he should have the W over dawson.

whats more he is pretty well known to the british public and has fought here before beating clinton woods.

id love for joe to go out in style in front of his fans with 50,000 cheering him on. whats more i still think joe in alot of fans eyes comes below other great fighters of his era like hopkins, RJJ and toney.

but it depends on joe, it depends on how hungry he is, how his hands are (he injured it once in training and once in the fight with RJJ) and how good his reflexes are. hes only been cut twice in his career and both bouts were his most recent fights.

but it would be a great fight - 2 fighters who both throw lots of punches, with good stamina, solid chins and both fighters have a warrior mentality.

Dawson, if anybody. I really can't see Calzaghe fighting Hopkins again; he's said to many times that he won't (and what he thinks of Hopkins!). Johnson is the only other credible opponent. Kessler hasn't done enough yet for a rematch, Pavlik would be out of his mind to try after the Hopkins fight, and Bute (who MUST give Andrade a rematch) and Froch don't have a high enough profile and just haven't done enough to deserve a shot at Calzaghe.

I think Calzaghe would really have fancied Tarver, had he beaten Dawson; but that wasn't to be, of course.

Joe's handspeed would be too fast for Chad. IMO it'd be a repeat of the Kessler fight.
