I have mixed feelings about it too.

Haye winning would be good for the heavyweight division, but because of his attitude and ****** trash talk, I find him difficult to like.

Monte on the other hand is a class act and a good sportsman. Monte had been treated very badly by Don King which led to the Couser loss (he was not mentally focused at the time because of his differences with King). After being freed of his obligations to King he said he felt like a new man, and since then he's won three by early KO.

I like Monte because he has a quality badly lacking in other heavyweight veterans: the willingness to fight anybody. He took the fight with Fields after Rahman turned it down. He's now willing to travel to another country and fight England's best up-and-coming heavyweight.

Well Monte doesn't have a pot to piss in so he has to go where the money is, at this stage it's fighting prospects. Rahman was waiting to see if anyone was ****** enough to hand him a title shot.

i'm split between monte and haye for this fight

i dislike haye... but i feel obligated to root for the brit, especially since our "golden era" in boxing came to such an abrupt end in 2008

Monte is a good guy who has been treated badly by Haye and his company

Monte is a nice man and i would like to see him do well

i would support him if he was fighting any of the other big mouthed guys who have done nothing in the division like Kevin Johnson
