    Taylor/Lacy coverage vs Haye/Barrett coverage

There's 2 major fights happening tonight. One between a long term out of action Taylor whom lost to Taylor twice and a Lacy whom was exposed as a hype job and looks unlikely to win.

The other one is between a guy whom unified the CW division, is big news in the often biggest division HW and likely to face the absolute top guys soon, and a top HW in Barrett in what will be an explosive exciting HW for once.

    There's around 6 fight related articles on Taylor/Lacy. B

Both being confident just ahead of the fight.
A compubox pre analysis card article.
    Final press convention.
    One on them making weight.
Taylor is ready to prove his recession is over.
    Another pre fight report card.

As for the Haye/Barrett fight also tonight there's hardly any fight related ones, just a few negative ones about Barretts complains of the hotel, and Hayes apparent lack of paying some fee's.

No compubox pre anaysis card. No PC even though it happened and was quite controversial and some big quotes. None on them making weight which is a big deal seeing what weight the new big thing in the HW's comes in at. None on their personal thoughts ahead of the fight. No pre fight report card.

Is it just me or does this seem very unbalanced in terms of coverage. Way too many articles on a lesser fight, hardly any on an equally big if not bigger fight, only a few non fight related negative ones. Keep looking out for articles of info and insight into this big fight and there's nothing, it's weird. Can anyone link any anywhere? Thoughts?

Its an American website. One of the fights is in America between two American fighters with a relatively high profile in America. The other is between a Brit and a lesser known American in Britain.

I definately think the Haye fight is of greater significance though. I really like Haye and we are getting it on Setanta out here so I am pretty pumped for it.

Can you elaborate to what you mean? HW as a whole being a big division your querying? Well it is and has always had big fights, big attention, big money, big stars and such. May not be the strongest division at the moment but still doesn't change much, look at Vitali's last fight. Plus all the more reason for attention on this fairly big HW fight.

If you were querying Hayes weight, well he's come up from CW so it's way more insightful to know what kind of weight he's coming in, rather than if two SMW's come in on weight, both the same. Haye was 235 lbs a couple of months ago, he weighed in at 215 surprisingly. Monte came in heavier than usual at 226 I think it was. See, there's not even a blimming article on the most basic of things on it, it's crazy.

My thoughts exactly but it doesn't excuse it. This is a big fight in the HW division that could play a huge part in the future of it. As for actual fight related articles, 6-0 is completely un acceptable for a news site. 6-3 I could handle, but this is a joke. Lacy/Taylor get 2 pre report card type articles and threads and there's not one on Haye Barrett, lunacy. I hope there's some articles coming later today if not be grateful for any good bits of info and articles people have found on the fight.

Barrett is a journeyman most expect to lose, so they're ain't been a lotta excitement about the fight wit Haye. Taylor-Lacy might be good, but the outcome ain't really in question on that one either. I'll be watchin both fights, but I kinda understamd those who might not care about tonight's action.

Sorry i perhaps misread your thread i thought you were saying they hadn't made weight which was a shock as like you say Haye was a cruiser. I saw at the press conference hayes had about four jumpers on classic tactic haha.
I know what you mean there hasn't even been much on setanta about it really.
