Thompson also had experience over Haye. Haye had just 10 pro fights before he took on Thompson, Thompson had 38 fights including 32 wins. A step too far a step too soon for Haye?

He was unift and inexperienced when thompson took him out. I wouldn't read too much into that fight as the problem was clearly stamina and discipline, or lack thereof in a young fighter.

Cunningham is a nobody. He probably wanted more money. This thread is a joke!

Thompson was experienced and very old. His best days were far behind him that's why Haye's people took the fight. They thought he was a soft touch and david got starched lol

In his 10th fight, Thompson still had the experience over Haye. Haye thought he could bomb him out Thompson weathered the early storm and Haye didn't know what to do.

Haye learnt from the experience and became unified Cruiser champ.

He didn't get "starched". Maccarinelli got starched. Haye got pulled out by his corner.

                    Thompson schooled Haye?.

Why don't people watch the fight before commenting.

I think you need to watch the fight because Haye won the 1st round, started sucking wind in the 2nd and got knocked around for 3,4,5 until it was stopped. So Haye won 1 clear round and lost 3 arguably 4 of the remaining rounds. I wouldn't say he was winning would you?
