    I don't get it. Oscar/Hopkins Comparison

I don't get it. Why is Hopkins regarded so highly for fighting smaller guys but yet Oscar gets **** for fighting Pac. Didn't Winky go up 2 weight classes to fight Hopkins? Same thing Pac is doing to fight DLH. Hopkins' biggest wins have come from people going up in weight to fight him.

People hate on Bernard's wins over Oscar and Tito all the time around here, breaking the Middleweight record for title defenses is what gives him most of his accolades.

B-Hop was the under dog against 2 of the so called "Smaller men"...By the way, B-Hop's win over Tarver, Johnson, are better then his wins over Winky, DLH

Hopkins was 42 when he fought Winky Wright so he gets a pass. The Wright fight was at 170, not quite two weight classes, plus Pac only had one fight at LW, so he is essentially jumping up 3 weight classes to fight a guy that has fought at MW and is coming back down 2 weight classes to fight him.

I know that, but we are talking to where he is at now.

Look I don't like the fight cause it takes away fights for Pac at 135 but it is what it is. But if people are going to hate on Oscar, they should look at other boxers also.

His win over DLH is what got him into the general spotlight in my opinion. He got props for the Trinidad fight but its the DLH fight that people took notice of him.

No, the Trinidad fight he was a sizable underdog in, the DLH fight Bernard was a decent favorite.

Both of those guys are smaller than him and had to go up. Underdog or not.
