Cotto didn't want to fight Jennings man. There is an article were it said Cotto was refusing (or something like that) to fight Jennings. But Arum, being the snot nose ***** he is, said Cotto either fights Jennings before Margarito or he gets no warm up fight. Is a business move on Arum's part; TR gets an extra belt and Cotto's chance of losing is minimal. It works the same way with Margarito who could have taken a rematch with either Clottey or Williams. But TR made excuses.

and beating a fellow contender for a belt.

Thats why we have words like CHAMPION and CONTENDER....

and Cotto always fights contenders for his belts...

He has never had to beat a CHAMPION for his belt.
Cotto has never had to take away something from somebody who earned it.

I've seen your posts youre better than this. Floyd ducked Cotto? How many times have you seen Floyd say he was too green and that Arum want let Miguel in the same room as him. Remember the look on Cotto's and Hatton's faces at the Gatti fight? Remember Hatton?

Floyd has been making excuses too. Both men haven't said much on fighting each other. And to be honest, neither Cotto or Hatton really looked "scared" after the Gatti fight. Floyd was a younger, quicker ring technician fighting a brawler, who was actually trying to box him.
