Yo I was just thinking this very same thing...I was reading up on the mortality rate of a fighter on ESPN and I though to my self...damn these dudes go out there every time out and who know's that fatal blow could be right around the corner....that's LEGIT in my book...yeah some times I may call some of these kats bumbs or cowards or what not...(Pretty ***** Floyd)...but in the bigger picture it does take real courage to get in that ring!!! much props and much respect to all those pugilist out there famous or not!!!

Great. Here in Europe there are a lot from the less rich Eastern side who take fights as it is the only way they can support their families. Cannon fodder they are called. Or bums - but in my eyes they show bravery, and they are really true warriors. Who want their children to go hungry?

I respect all boxers who get in the ring and fight, people may call the lesser skilled fighters bums but could those who mock them do any better ? I think not.

but hold up aren't you the one credited with this?

Manny don't be scared, hit oscar with the hardest low blow ever. And unless Oscar has a vagina*which is a good possibility he does* you should be able to hurt him bad that way.
so how is that exactly respecting Oscar?

sounds to me like maybe you should heed your own word and not just for the fighters you like?

I'll hate on Oscar for this fight, he deserves no ones respect with this fight. He should have fought Margarito instead. Fighting a guy that is so much smaller then you is a disgrace, how can that be respected?

so again just because its suits your argument then its fine but when it comes to others then we should respect?

cmon now surely you are better than that if you are calling for fighters to be respected more. In fact, to me your quote seems more malicuous than someone calling oh say Mayweather or Calzaghe a fraud because they are basing it on what they do in the ring and you simple are basing your quote on Oscar being a girl

the only boxer I truly discredit is Matt Skelton, what he does is upsetting. Not boxing.
