David Haye reportedly turned down the older of the Kiltschko brothers Vitali, at Madison Sqaure Garden last Saturday night.
Haye who recently vacated his Cruiserweight belts to fight at Heavyweight said he noticed Vitali being interviewed by reporters at the other side of the ring and made a bee line for the Ukranian. "I wanted to confront Vitali and ask him why he and his brother were ducking me?"
But before Haye could ask his question witnesses say Vitali using an almost sixth sense kind of perception turned on his heel to face Haye who was standing behind him, popped his collar and said in a deep but audible voice "Vill you come back to my Hotel room vith me after the vight?".
Haye was left speechless for the first time in his life. "I admit it, I was taken aback and I wasn't sure how to respond. He was dressed pretty well and he was wearing Jean Paul Gautier after shave but I couldn't say anything because my boyfriend was beside me".
When asked if Haye would have considered Vitali's offer under different circumstances he responded "Possibly, but it's Wladimir I'm after, he has bigger fists and he wears Hugo Boss".
Haye faces Monte Barret in a Heavyweight bout this Saturday night.
