David Haye slammed Monte Barrett's press conference antics, calling him a prima dona and insisting that he will be throwing bombs from the first bell.
Barrett complained about the size of his room, his daily allowance and a rematch clause in his contract - which Haye's manager Adam Booth insists will now be taken out.
Haye believes this behaviour shows that Barrett is not in the right frame of mind to step into the ring with him on Saturday night.
"I aint going to lose this fight," Haye told Setanta Sports News. "The closer it gets the more confident I'm getting.
"He's come over and said he's not a prima donna then he's said he wasn't treated right, the red m&m's weren't taken out of his packet or something.
"He's probably trying to get under my skin but it doesnt bother me. He keeps saying how he's from the mean streets of New York then he moans about his hotel.
"Especially the way he's bitching and moaning that lets me know he's mindset. He's not ready to tackle what I'm going to bring.
"This is going to be explosive from the first round. I'm throwing bombs and going to smash him to bits.
"He's never seen my type of speed before, if he is lucky enough to hear the bell for the end of the first round he will know all about it.
"I'm even quicker as a heavyweight. It's ridiculous how quick I am. I want the fight to be tonight."
An interested observer will be Vitali Klitschko in the Setanta Sports studio, who will be certain to be viewing Haye as a potential opponent for his brother - and possibly himself - in the future.
"I might hold Barrett up a couple of rounds to not scare Vitali too much," Haye added,.
Say what you like about his fighting ability, but David Haye says some funny ****!
