Margarito already has had a career before Cotto. Don't you know he was a WW champion for years before losing to PW?? Beat Cintron twice too.
Who are "you guys"? If you mean Cotto fans then yes he was unstoppable until he met Margarito....I already said I have respect for Margarito Oh and yes he beat another Puerto Rican fighter too in Cintron , I see your stating this for a reason (I cant hype Margaritos his skill, because he is more of a resilient fighter with a serious chin) but I respect that too. Cmon face it if it wasnt for Margaritos chin he would not have even won that fight ...Margarito took more punches and harder punches then I ever seen him take. Not to mention how he was swinging at air for half the fight(making Cotto look like Pernell Whitaker)If you respect fighters that beat other fighters then you must really love Daniel Santos..oh and that bull**** you smell....its your lower lip.

LOL no way in hell was Cotto looking like Pernell, you seem to be a headshot happy and miss looking at all good body shots Margarito was giving Cotto. Daniel Santos really didn't beat Margarito, it was due to a cut and not a real decision or knockout. Alot of Cotto fans like you are hurt, especially since his loss was to a Mexican.

Man, Santos didn't beat Margarito. It's pretty clear to everyone that Margarito really makes his mark later in fights because of his inhuman like stamina. The tide was turning in that fight. Santos fought a good fight, it was very close when it stopped, with Santos probably narrowly ahead. But I would bet my house that Margarito would have worn him down in the championship rounds.

In my mind the only person to really beat Margarito is PWill. And even in that case, I hate to not give Williams credit because he fought great, but I honestly do feel that it was more of what Margo didn't do than what PWill did. Margarito's really had an underrated career.

Lets stop it with the Marg/Cotto ****, both are amazing fighters, and both give us great, entertaining fights. We're lucky that we're going to get to see them in the ring again for another impending war. Margarito beat Cotto, straight up there's no way to try and discredit that. Saying "oh he wouldn't of beat him without his chin" is ******ed because he does have a chin and it's a big part of his game. No excuses Cotto got beat bad, and I hope to see him come back with a smarter game plan.

Hey men dont try to discret Santos win over margarito. At the time of the stoppage Santos was ahead on the scordcards and well deserved, he went out of his game plan just to show that he can hacked with a brawler. And he had margarito on ***** street, throwing low blows for the whole 1rst Round. You saying that victory is not a win, is lik saying that ODH didnt beat Chavez twice, ect, ect. Margarito got beat by Santos clearly, just like Cotto got bet by Margarito clearly. Do they could done better in their respective fights ?Of course.

Really?? Clearly?? Are you smoking something?? You want to talk about ***** street on low blows, isn't that what Trinidad & Cotto are famous for?? Bad example by putting DLH vs Chavez cause they had a rematch and Chavez wanted no more from DLH. Margarito wanted to continue and knew he was on his way to winning. Lets say if Santos got cut and Margo won on the cards, I would still call not call it a real win.

Damn im a Cotto fan and never noticed all those vacant belt wins. But in my opinion he should fight Berto because of his size and style, instead of Jennings...
btw he should not fight Margarita again. Margarita is just to over whelming and big for Cotto.
Cotto unfortunately donesnt have one hitter quitter power.

100% agree. The momentum was turning in that fight. Santos was barely ahead, and Margs was coming on, regardless of the cut. That's a technicality, not a victory. Like I said earlier, the only person in my mind that has beaten Margarito is Williams. What an underrated career.

I agree, and the Williams fight was a close one too.

Trinidad Maybe, but Cotto. He have just low blowed on Person and thats zab judah. Didnt Margarito Low Blowed Cotto like 10 Times during their fight? But anyays your being fair by saying that if Margo was the one who won, you still not calling it a win, thats fair enough.
