Why would you say I like Codrington? I'm completely indifferent when it comes to him.

I have never said Codrington was anything special, I've actually been very critical of the Chin Checkers for a long time for creating hype they could never surpass.

I'm saying as a New Jersey native familiar with the local boxing scene, I know Gill to be much better than his record suggests. Among his many losses, which were mostly majority and split decisions, as in his previous fight with the 21-0 Derek Edwards. This fight was only his second stoppage defeat.
