Bigger accomplishment: Gold Medal or Undisputed Champ?

UD champ 4 sho. Medals are great, but that's amateur ****. If you could choose between the 2, the world title is mos def a bigger accomplishment.

A fighter with a Gold medal dreams about becoming undisputed champion one day. A Gold medal won't pay the bills, but being the champion and having that much money will.

I would have to go with the gold medal. Why? Because first of all it's a solid gold medal. And the youngers fighters are usually more hungry. Second, at the amateur level boxers aren't polluted with all that other stuff that comes along with the fight game.

An undefeated undisputed champ is also a major major accomplishment. But what that type of accomplishment comes millions of dollars which might cloud the inital objective.

At least a gold medal is pure.

both are very long roads but im going with Undisputed Champ.... not only is there a big difference between professional prize fighting and amateur but to be fight and beat the creme of the crop of your division and bring all the titles together is a huge accomplishment

It means more to a career, is professional, not amatuer success, and is more competitive.

Most, if not all the great boxers that have won both a gold medal and been undisputed champion that have been asked what their biggest accomplishment was would say it was winning the gold medal.
