Seriously...If Taylor even remotely struggles with him, it'll be a huge disapointment. If he loses, his career is over.

LMFAO at "pulling a Diego here".

    That is some classic ****.

Agreed as well warp. After watching Lacy his last two times out anything but a decisive win for JT in which he looks good would be a disappointment. A loss would obviously be career-shattering.

It will take a tumble that's for sure but over? I dont think so. Of course it would depend upon the manner in which he lost. If he was to lose by quitting and not trying hard enough it would be devastating as most people already questiones if his heart and soul is really into boxing.

I find that scenario to be much more devastating than a swift KO loss as we all know these things can happen when you square off against a big puncher like Lacy.

          doubtful,

his career wont be over any more than judahs ever was. you can always get back with a good fight or two. taylor is proven, even though he lost to pavlik, he still has some quality wins. i commend taylor for taking a dangerous fight for his comeback. this win should put taylor right back in the mix.

            I have to agree.

Lacy has been awful in his last performances and Taylor should dominate.

Not in this case because Lacy has looked like garbage in every fight since the Calzaghe fight in which you could have made a case for every guy who fought him winning. His power isn't there anymore and he's slow and plods along trying to outmuscle you.

Taylor being the former middleweight champion who's fought extremely high class competition should have no problems in dispatching. Especially as this is the ideal fight for him to comeback with. To restablish that Jab and loook great is the objective here.

That's the thing. If he loses to Lacy, he'll never have another good fight because Lacy sucks. I guess he could be Judah, but Baldomir pound for pound was a lot better in 2006 then the Lacy that is fighting now.

I think Lacy's torn rotator cuff has a lot to do with it. If he has rehabbed this very serious injury well he could be back IMO. So I'd say there is a chance that Lacy can surprise.

For the record I havent read anything from Lacy's camp so I have no knowledge of how his shoulder is responding these days. Do you or anybody else?

I doubt it. It took Forrest 4 years to come back from a shoulder injury and Forrest was better then Lacy from the start anyway (pound for pound).

The shoulder thing is exactly why Taylor shouldn't even have an excuse for looking like **** if he does.
