This is a slightly sad topic. This is a really bad matchup for Hatton, his style is all wrong for someone like Hearns and Ricky was ever really a 147 fighter. But the way some of you are carrying on it's like we're talking about Amir Khan versus Thomas Hearns.

Just to play devil's advocate for a second, the answers to this thread are almost identical to the predictions for Hatton-Tszyu. Hehe

But of course, a huge welterweight like Hearns is going to beat Hatton. Hatton isn't a welterweight and never should've fought above 140. And he's fairly small for even 140 these days.

Its laughable Hearns top 3 all time welterweight against a guy 1 and 1 at the weight.

******, just an excuse by thread starter to mook Hatton in a fight he has 0 chance in.

Hatton MIGHT be able to clinch his way out of the first round. He'll eventually get caught with a hellacious right hand. It's inevitable.

He would eat Hearns' right hand like he ate Kostya's.

Hearns' power is very overrated, he couldn't even KO James Buggs!

                You can't possibly be serious.

Hearns' right hand would be Hatton's last meal.

Hatton has a granite chin and has never been legitimately stopped.

Hearns took out Roberto Duran i dont think he would have trouble taking out Ricky who was hurt by Collazo,Floyd and Urango to the body,Hearns left hook to the body would have doubled Hatton over thats without even talking about the Hitman right hand
