Got to give it to MAB ..always the warrior but I believe he will get knocked out ..only because he is well past his prime. But at least he isnt like Joana Guzman a heartless fake trying to hold on to his belt by fighting bums once or twice a yr. ( hope that wasnt too rough)

You don't know what you're talking about.

If Guzman was content fighting bums he would have stayed at 122 defending his WBO belt and not going up a weight division shut out an undefeated fighter and be the mandatory for the drunk problematic Scot Harrison and made to wait a year+ for a fight that never happened because Harrison is a head case.

Then go up to 130 beat up Barrios only to get a split decision and easily outpoint the current #1 130 pounder in the world. If he was a fake trying to hold on to his belt, he wouldn't have been chasing Pacquiao since 126. Arum knows this there are articles from 2006 that back me up in this. He would have went up in weight earlier to fight Katsidis, but got injured in training camp and couldn't get the fight rescheduled. He will fight Barrera as soon as MAB outpoints Campbell.

A bit of 'this and that"

I'm sorry to say that I think that Barrera is allowing the chase after that elusive "4-title" ensconcement in the historical annals of Mexican superheros is clouding his judgement.

He obviously is not coming back because "I love boxing so much I must keep fighting"....or "I need the money" etc. AND...he choses an Association which, not only does not have Manny Pacquiao as Champion, but is willing to, quite undeservedly, place him as the #1 challenger, in line for a Title fight.
If he was returning to ring action because he missed it, it would have been much better and healthier for him to come back into the 130 lb class, and, if he wanted a Title, try for a placement to fight either Cassius Baloyi, or the WBO Champ Alex Arthur. The other two Titles a re held by his nemesis Manny P. and Valero, a hefty clouter, who's never looked like being beaten yet.

                Just my opinion.

I want to see Barrera fight a top contender at 135 first, it's hard to say whether he has enough left to fight against the best of the division. Good for Campbell though, should be a pretty big payday.

Barrera is one of the all time greats in any weight class
and i hope he can become the first Mexican to win titles in four divisions.
