Its like this. If you're a fan of hip hop music, but dont particularly like a specific artist, does that not make u a "real" hip hop fan? Must u like every single artist in order to be considered a "real hip hop fan"?

You gotta be selective and seek out the artists that are actually worth listening to, don't just listen to any old ****. 99% of hip hop is complete and utter garbage, and it's pretty much the same for any genre. Some of the best talent is often virtually unknown. This is especially true in hip hop. Most hip hop artists are KILLING hip hop. It's gotten so far away from what it was in the first place due to the sole focus now being money and who can get the most.

Hip hop started as a way for young street kids to channel their energy into something other than gang wars.

Only fight I ever liked with Ruiz was Tua. Tua-Ruiz is probably on the end of every fight tape I own. I watch Jones-Ruiz every here and there to watch his trainer flip his ****.
