He wont be the #1 conteder Williams is fighting for the WBO Interim championship, thats the hole reason he is vacating his title, he cant be champ in 2 divisions(WBO Rules), thats if he wins and if he loses he will be droped in rankings. So he wont be the #1 Conteder, How many times I have to correct you on this? lol!!!!!!

Actually, even if he lost at 154, he would still be ranked @ 147. Two different weight divisions with two different rankings. As much as you are posting today, you should know this.

This is clearly some promoter politics. Margarito moved up in weight to fight Daniel Santos in 2004 and didn't have to give up his WBO Welt title... and he lost the fight. So what gives? I thought it would be good to see if one athlete could actually win--and defend his titles in different weight classes.

The politics in boxing is so deep right now that you can't even get a real guage on who is really the best out there. Someone ruling multiple weight classes-at once, perhaps fighting three fights a year is EXACTLY what boxing needs right now. I think they are afraid that he will actually be able to pull it all off. yes you are right I missed that. Different Weight Classes, diferent rankings. And about Quintana. I'm just pushing the case because, Williams people are being Hypocrits, when they say Margo dont want to fight Williams, But Williams doesnt give Quintana a 3rd fight! thats all!!!!!!
