        That gif is from the 3rd round as you can clearly see in it. So the cut excuse can't apply here, he was being out skilled even this early in the fight. The third round Roy was clearly energetic after knocking Joe down 2 rounds earlier. Calzaghe had an immense 3rd round, landing some ridiculously good combo's.

        Someone had a video clip of more of the third round which would be good to have. He literally looked like an octoopus on steroids or something. Standing still putting his arms where he wanted them, or whilst moving. For a LHW especially, it was ridiculous speed and combo's, one has to admit.

          I haven't really appreciated Joe's skills enough in the past, but the more i watch him the more i'm impressed with what he does in a ring.

          The guy puts a 5 punch combination together in the blink of an eye and they land. This notion that Joe slaps his punches is very flawed IMO. The guy can box. You just need to look harder.
