i agree that jones werent his best, which is obvious, but i dont think that it was 40 % of the prime jones. i dont think froch should be running his mouth off like this anyway lol, calzaghe is in a different league to him.

This version of roy jones jr, would knock froch out. Froch needs to shut the **** up, no one likes him. He is getting older by the day, and Froch still hasn't proved anything to boxing fans other then beating a washed up robin reid.

I certainly dont agree with the title of the thread, with the exception of round one Joe was a revelation, great speed, stamina, workrate. There was even some fantastic defensive work, the way he slipped punches was almost Ray Leonard like.......and lets face it Jone's handspeed was not exactly slow.

Jones is not quite washed up, he is probably still a world top 10 light heavy who would have competitive matches with the likes of Hopkins, Tarver or Woods, its just that hes no longer the elite.....age is the factor.

As for Froch, he'll never end up in the same ring as Calzaghe unless he meets and KOs Kessler...and I doubt that will happen.

Froch is in immense shape and hits as hard/harder than anybody in the SW LHW division, i don't think RJ could deal with the power.
