Roy is a proud man, he was certainly beaten by the better man on Saturday with no real excuses.
I wouldn't have said that hes even slipped that much, hes still got fast hands for a near 40 year old, although his ability to avoid punches is a far cry from his heyday.
He is just not prepared to throw many punches per round or to punch in combination often enough, like he was always conserving his energy. He seemed in good twelve round condition, never out of breath in the corner in later rounds and had one of his best rounds in the final round.
I think he'd still give Hopkins a good fight, if he wants another payday, although I'd lean to Hopkins to actually win maybe a 116-112 verdict.
