EX Hopkins v Lightsout Toney prime 4 prime catch weight

EX Hopkins v Lights out Toney prime 4 prime catch weight

i got EX i think he would make Toney come to him and he would get in and out and land some clean effective shots and pot shot his way to a decision i dont wanna disrespect a GREAT fighter like Toney but i think EX is too smart for him and once he worked out how to get through his D i think he would win

Hopkins was and is a tape freak he would dissect Toney's style

I would favour Hopkins to win but it would be tough for him.

Toney would definitely land some of his counters but lose because of his poor footwork.

You can never count out Toney though.

i would not be suprised to see either one of these guys get DQ'd cause i cant see Toney reacting well when Hopkins is jamming his head into his face on the ropes or hitting him in the balls on the blindside of the referee or hitting and holding him

        hmm close ass fight

honestly, i cant predict a winner.... to beat toney it helps a hell of a lot to be faster and lighter on your feet than him (see RJJ fight)

i dont think b-hop could pot shot james, prime toney had insane defence and the only you could get through it was with lightning speed

b-hop has good D also, he wont be pot shotted

i see a rugged, occasionally dirty inside fight...both guys occasionally moving around to set themselves for an attack...

and it would go the distance, thats for sure two guys with great D and chins

if i had to favour either...i see a toney SD

or even a draw...tough fight to pick

2 defensive wizards... damn I can't choose.. one is slick and elusive...the other is slick and elusive... one is old school... the other is old school lol... I think I'm going to pick The Executioner though...he's more of a dedicated gym rat..

Love both fighters, but this would be a very boring fight. I think Hopkins wins, though. He'd be hit flush with Toney's signature counter rights in the early rounds, but his chin will hold up to it. He would then adjust and begin to use his superior footspeed to slip and throw scoring combinations. I say he throws and lands more punches while Toney lands the more eye-popping ones, leading to disputed 7-5 Hopkins win which will lead Toney to start calling the boxing powers a bunch of crooks.

the reason i think Hopkins would get threw his defence is because he is absolutely brilliant at finding an angle to attack you from i think that is one of the reasons why he never has problems with Southpaws on top of that he studys footage of oponents and always comes in top shape

i think Toney could win aswell though so fair play

                Hopkins would take it.

Toney was amazing in his prime, but he was notoriously lacidasical when he had to fight coming forward, and Hopkins would tear him apart with sharp counter puncher.

It wouldn't be a trinidad kind of blowout, but it would be a lopsided decision IMO.

In his prime though, Toney was a very very strong puncher, so you never know

I got Toney by UD or Late TKO, he hits harder, is a busier tactician and has more savvy

It would be one hell of a press conference though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
