I would pay for gym footage of Calzaghe and Lockett sparring.

I'd imagine it would look like a Lion playfighting with a Meercat.

Dawson by an absolute mile from that list, and I think he would too. I said it before the RJJ fight and beating a shot, lifeless RJJ isn't going to make me change my mind.

Hopkins, for all his brilliance, can't fight someone with such workrate and volume as Calzaghe. It's too much for him. And I for one am sick of seeing Calzaghe outwork old men.

Kelly Pavlik and Taylor are currently tied with Dawson and Hopkins.

                Wow.

                  Rubbish.

Calzaghe's last six opponents, their age and Calzaghe's age at the time in parentheses

                  Roy Jones Junior - 39 (36)
                  Bernard Hopkins - 43 (36)
                  Mikkel Kessler - 28 (35)
                  Peter Manfredo Jr - 26 (35)
                  Sakio Bika - 27 (34)
                  Jeff Lacy - 28 (34)

Calzaghe was older than 2/3 of his last half dozen opponents. Of the next four Calzaghe was older than half of them.

His last two fights were against men who were 39 and 43.

Those two fights are the freshest in my mind.

And that is why I said I'm sick of seeing him outwork old men who can't cope with high activity levels and workrate.

And is why I don't care for a B-Hop rematch.

Is that broken down simply enough for you?
