can anyone tell me what all he said?
Roy Jones Jr: Just don't forget

I want him to fight again , but not so sure it's good for his health. What is your take on this? Am I being selfish if I hope he fights to at least leave with a win? And does he stand a chance of beating Glenn Johnson .........now? I just want him to avenge that loss one day.Comment

Good post my man I know it was tough seeing t happen but he gave us alot to remember him by. I truely don't think he is going to retire. I think we will see him one more tiem and hopefully like you aid it ain't some bum knocking him out...LeftyAfter an unbelievable amount of thought about what happened on Saturday, I guess you gata come to the conclusion of..
"Hey, this was coming soon no matter what"... the end was gonna happen for Roy either way...
Im greatful it didnt end with Prince Badi or Anthony Hanshaw. Greatful that he worked his way back up to one more huge fight. Greatful that HBO got to do a 24/7 with him... you could see he seemed more peaceful, and was having fun again.. and that was great to see.. Im greatful that he and Joe were/are friends, and showed each other respect before and after the fight.
His Prime ended years ago, Recovering from 2 devastating knockouts, hasn't faced top opposition in almost 5 years, He's 2 months shy of 40 years old, his eye was swollen shut, But he fought on. Half his face covered in blood, But he fought on. Reflexes --- gone, slowing down every round, But he fought on. every minute that past, he/we realized this wasn't gonna go his way, that he just didn't have it anymore. But he fought on. He didn't give up. He didn't quit. Even in the 12th round, he put all his energy into being as alive as he could be. He did as much as his body would allow him to do.
His career ended against one of the best, if not the best fighter in the world today... so on that note.. im glad it was Joe Calzaghe that ended his career.. and not some bum...
In a weird way... It was almost like his whole career was all inside one fight... The very beginning looking almost like a Prime Roy Jones Jr., his body looked good, he looked quick, and dropped Joe in the first round... This was the last we would ever see of the Great RJ... with every round that went on, he lost more and more of what he once had... by the end of the fight, he was a beaten old man... whose mind believed, but body would not agree.
We will never forget Roy, The windmill punches, 4 hooks in one second, the chicken moves, "pound for pound the baddest man throwin down", hands behind the back, from middleweight to heavyweight, fastest straight right hand u ever seen, uppercuts from halfway across the ring... we shall never forget.
As time goes on, Ill never forget my favorite moment of every Roy Jones Jr fight.
Michael Buffer:
Pound for Pound fighter of the 90's
Former MIDDLEWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION
Former SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION
Former 3-TIME LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION
and FORMER HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLDDDDDDD
ROYYYYYYYYY JONESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS JUNIOR!!!!!!!
As someone else said:
It's time to hang up the cape Superman, and put on a tie.
I will definitely miss you in the ring... I think we all will.

After seeing that fight I don't know who that Roy can beat. Looking at the Trinidad fight yes I think Roy can throw down with Johnson and Roy's speed will do well in there......LeftyI want him to fight again , but not so sure it's good for his health. What is your take on this? Am I being selfish if I hope he fights to at least leave with a win? And does he stand a chance of beating Glenn Johnson .........now? Man I was thinking the other day, if only Roy would have retired after Tarver 1!!!! ****!!
he let Tarver, media and fans talk him into the rematch. Roy said if I don't get Tyson, I'm going to retire. And then he suckered into the Tarver rematch. That ****ed him up in the end! oh well, just the way it goes...Comment
