If this fight happened before Lacy messed his shoulder up it would probably be a fight of the year candidate, because Lacy is going to keep coming forward and it would be a battle of can Taylor handle the constant pressure because he aint knocking Lacy out.

I don't see a single one on his record unless boxrec.com is wrong about it (which I wouldn't be surprised by).

I'm sure he had some of his opponents out when the fights were stopped though, very few referees count to 10 anymore.

can anyone envisage Lacy winning this fight? Even the pre-Calzaghe Lacy would have fits with Taylor's skills.

I'm going for a 12 round shut out.

Yes because Taylor isn't a huge puncher.

            Don't trust everything on boxrec:

1st round KO... although it looks su****iously like Rios took a dive. But regardless, that should be on his record as a KO.

That's definitely a clean knockout but boxrec might list it as a TKO because the referee stopped it before counting to 10.

I like how Teddy Atlas said "I've been wrong and I've been wrong many times", atleast he admits it. But he was definitely right about Rios not being a test for Taylor at all.

Boxrec is not a reliable source of information in my opinion which is why I hesitate to use it as proof for anything.

I think Lacy has a chance of winning this fight. He's stronger and punches harder than Taylor, and he's never has any stamina problems.

I think he ran out of gas against Epifanio Mendoza.

He looked impressive in the first round and then it just went downhill from there although he was able to win a decision with his determination alone when Mendoza coasted.

I don't think it was stamina, Mendoza hurt him with some punches. He'd been out of the ring awhile, and a long while before his previous fight with Manfredo too.

But surely he'll be fit, motivated and sharp from sparring for this HBO fight, it's his last chance.
