shouldn't you already have fighters that you follow? Or is this like the typical floyd fans and williams fans that are not fans of the sport but like cheerleaders and just bandwagon a fighter (ironically black ones)

roy didnt look terrible in hinesight, it was just the amount of punches calzaghe throws was over whelming for what he still had left.. but bernard doesnt throw near that

I actually agree, looking back he didn't look terrible. Its just against Calzaghe stylistically he had no chance. However, I think Roy should either retire or fight a farewell match against an easy opponent. I don't want to see Roy get hurt anymore...

I agree. Roy shouldnt fight any more dangerous fights.

If he doesnt retire, he should have an easy fight in Pensacola as a farewell to his fans.

I'll be there sitting next to ree****yaluss drinking some RedBull if it happens.

                      you obviously don't know me.

my favorite fighters are as follows.

1.) Roy Jones Jr.---but now hes done.
2.) Bernard Hopkins---Hes going to be done soon
                      3.) Muhammad Ali---hes been done.
                      4.) Mike Tyson---Done
5.) James Toney....hes going to be done soon

so what I'm saying is, I need to find new fighters to root for. These are still my all time favs, but they are on their way. It just so happens that fighters I have grown to love, are fighters from the past. I have yet to be a fan of a new young fighter....

Although I do like Andre Ward. but thats about it.

**how could you say I'm not a fan of the sport? just because I don't follow every single fighter? **** I own the boxing hall of fame handbook with all the legends in it. If I didn't like the sport, would I own that?
