BoxingScene.com's Television Picks of the Week

The world is righted on its axis in some ways. For the first time what feels like longer than it's been, the underdog met his billing in a major fight. When first announced, wise fight followers shook their head at the prospect of Joe Calzaghe-Roy Jones, reacting to Jones as a no-hoper. Something shifted in the months leading to the fight, old clips of Roy replacing the reality of recent form. Calzaghe provided a reality check. Now, we enter a weekend wondering if there is really any underdog at all in the showcase bout on tap…and wondering if it’s really the best fight of the week. [details]

Taylor vs Lacy Who gains and who loses.......All comes down to Nov. 15

Ok, so you got two good friends lacing up the gloves this weekend one wanting this fight more than the other. (Lacy told Taylor he wants to fight him and said no matter what goes on this fight will happen in the future) so who will win really....Taylor has got his ass beat consecutively by the same guy(do I need to type his name) and Lacy hasn't looked that well in fights since he got hurt, but still managed to win them all since he fought Calzaghe so who has more to lose analyst ask, its obviously Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor (does he really have bad intentions if he does where are they I dont see them while he's in the ring really) after losing 2 belts in 6 months gotta hit you hard as a boxer and getting knocked out while losing them phew I know his emotions are high lol and has something to prove in this fight and Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy.....so much hype around him being the next Tyson, I don't really agree, yea he has power, lots of it but he doesn't really have a craft or should I say sweet science like a Hopkins or Calzaghe to confuse the opponent and disrupt their gameplan, he's a bully, with a very solid chin and body, powerful hands and is named after a punch, not too many boxers are but he deserves it, his left hook is just that nasty and all he has to prove is that, is his famous punch still that devastating of an hit? So I ask Boxingscene.com who wins this fight Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy or Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor??? I pick Lacy by UD or SD, nothing has really lead me to say Taylor is going to win really but if he does I wont be upset by it, it will be a great fight to see.
