    Holyfield can beat Valuev

I'm not saying he will or that I think he will but lets analyze this situation before we jump to conclusions and say Holyfield will get his ass kicked.
Yes Holyfield is shot. But even a shot Holyfield can beat Valuev. Holyfield has always had a good chin and he probably won't be afraid of Valuev's power(which isn't really much) or size. Holyfield was beaten by Ibragimov because Ibragimov through a lot of punches. Valuev never throws many punches. If Evander can keep a steady and fairly large volume of punches going he may be able to squeeze out a decision.

Don't see how the hell he can get around Valuev's jab but it's a nice thought.

Holyfield is gonna end up like Ali if he's not careful.

Let's get real here, Valuev will beat Holyfield and quite easily. Holy will not respond a lot to Valuev's punches, and when he does, only with slow counters that will be quite easy to parry. I can see in the later rounds Valuev just beating him pretty badly, but he won't KO him. The thing I hate about Valuev is he lacks killer instinct, hate that almost as much as him choosing to fight Holyfield.

It all depends on if Valuev is slow enough for Holyfield. Ibragimov was too quick and cautious for Holyfield to have any chance of winning.

My guess is that Valuev will beat a 46 year old, inactive Holyfield up like a punching bag, similarly to the way he beat up an inactive Sergei Lyakhovich.

Exactly what I was thinking my fellow American (Tunney joke )

Valuev keeps Holy away with a jab he doesn't stop firing for 12 rounds.
Holy too old and slow to counter but hangs in and loses 119-109 on all three cards.

That's what I think is going to happen, but I'm not sure if Holyfield is going to be too slow, Valuev is pretty slow himself.

120-107 on all three scorecards. Holyfield stays on the outside and eats jabs all night, totally unable to move. You're completely out of touch if you think it can possibly go any other way. I even have him being old, tired, and dropped by one of those jabs in... I'll say the 9th. I would love for Evander to win, but this kind of thinking is what is going to make him like Ali in ten years.
