I did read your post. I know, it's not about "who he has won", but he's been hit hard on multiple occasions in his career, and the record still remains undefeated. He's a natural 135, and fought guys at 147 and of course DLH at 154. And De la hoya hit him hard a few times in that fight, does that mean he's mentally weak????? I had him winning by at least a 116-112 score. So please, give legit examples. Maybe you should BoxRec and Youtube some of his fights. K thanxxxxComment

No, natural welters come into the ring at about 152.
There is nothing natural about gaining over 13pounds in one night.
However, not gaining more than 5 pounds would lead one to believe he is closer to his natural weight than someone gaining 13 in the same time frame.Comment

Mayweather weighs 150 on fight night after 10 years of weight training----> Not a natural welter.
EDIT: we are talking about fighters in the era of weighins 30h before the fight, not people walking on the streets or fighters from before the 80sComment

Floyd has the ability to see the punches coming so even if he gets rocked and stunned he can still expect the oncoming punches. He won't commit to a power shot because there's a great chance he'll get caught, so instead he pot shots... u'd have to get real lucky to catch him clean...Comment

I gotta ask, are you saying that none of today's top welters are "natural" welterweights? Cotto, Margarito, Berto, Clottey, Williams, Cintron all put on 13+ pounds regularly.Comment

The claims by the threadstarter are kind of ridiculous. The Claims are easily proven to be false. The Mayweather JLC fight wasnt a case of Floyd being in trouble because he got hit hard. JLC was able to make it close because he went to body and landed well. The Oscar fight wasnt close, nor did he appear to ever hurt Floyd. As far as Roy goes after Tarver caught him in the 2nd fight he has never been able to pull the trigger again and covers up a lot more. This was the case in the Tarver 3, Hanshaw, and Tito, fights. The KO changed him but I dont think that weakness. He was a fighter that had athletic ability in the place of solid defense. When his reflexes were not the same he changed as fighter and became vulnerable.Comment
