I know here in the US the doctors would have stopped it, but do you see either one with enough mental toughness to be able to do that? I mean I see B-Hop doing it, I saw Pac-Man doing it, I see JMM doing it, ALI did it, you get my drift..............
Mayweather has fought and won fights with a broken hand. The only "knockdown" of his career was a result.

The claims by the threadstarter are kind of ridiculous. The Claims are easily proven to be false. The Mayweather JLC fight wasnt a case of Floyd being in trouble because he got hit hard. JLC was able to make it close because he went to body and landed well. The Oscar fight wasnt close, nor did he appear to ever hurt Floyd. As far as Roy goes after Tarver caught him in the 2nd fight he has never been able to pull the trigger again and covers up a lot more. This was the case in the Tarver 3, Hanshaw, and Tito, fights. The KO changed him but I dont think that weakness. He was a fighter that had athletic ability in the place of solid defense. When his reflexes were not the same he changed as fighter and became vulnerable.

            HAHAHA

            ridiculous....

If Jones had not heart Tarver would have won the 1st fight...

Do you really think that after spending their childhood, adolescence and youth in a gym, they would give up in a fight for anything less than a career damaging injury? You dont understand human nature very well...

Ask yourself why Mayweather fought against Hernandez and Baldomir with one hand for half fight...

But we have numerous "ATG's" who stay the course, no matter what. What is that from? Isn't that mental toughness? Look at JMM vs Pac I, isn't what JMM did all Mental toughness?
                1) barely only if you dont know how to score a round?

                2) playing rough??? WTF are you talking about? He was jabbing and throwing weak ass flurries to the body. Do you know what rough means in boxing?

That's exactly what happened to Oscar against Mayweather.

It's funny how you make ridiculous arguments... If there is 1 thing that did not happen in Castillo-Mayweather, it was Mayweather not throwing, in fact his mistake was standing and trading instead of boxing and moving, which was the adjustment made to win the 2nd figh comfortably.

                    but what would you know...
