The way I see it is that even though Bernard probably wont admit it,BOTH him and Calzaghe underestimated each other. The only thing B-Hop has admitted to was having difficulty against Calzaghe's unorthadox style.

If they fought again with both knowing what theyre up against Calzaghe's boxing brain and adaptive skills would make it a clear win for him IMO.

BHop is no Ring dummy. If I remember correctly Calzaghe looked horrible fighting him.

Nobody KOs Bernard so I see it going to decision with Bhop winning decisively

Joe had a bad performance, sussed Hopkins out after a few rounds and has done as a whole now. So he beats Hopkins even clearer next time, in a pointless fight most wrote off the win for not so long ago.

The problem is hopkins age. When your that old, somedays your gonna have it and some days you wont. I heard that he was winded after the winky wright fight. He lost to calzaghe because he didnt throw enough punches, and in my opinion he looked tired as the fight went on. I guess when he faught pavlik, it was one of those days where he was feeling young. Im not sure how much that has to do with it....but its not a bad explanation. You look at other sports, like basketball, sometimes an older player will look young here and there but not consistently. Im not old yet so i cant say.

No he isn't but Calzaghe has a better all round adaptive boxing mind out of and during a fight.

Calzaghe doesn't watch and study tapes of a fighter beforehand and does his work in the ring.
B-Hop watches tapes and plans for a fight,Something which simply hasn't and wont ever work against Calzaghe due to his abilty to adapt in fight.

Calzaghe has the BETTER boxing mind so he would win IMO

Hopkins only weighed in at 172 for the Calzaghe fight. At 170 would make no difference. If they fought 10 times, Calzaghe would outwork him 10 times out of 10 in a boring fight.

I think it would be a better fight than the first but Zag would get the decision.
