What's next? Vitali had no heart against Lewis? Give me a break.
We have all seen fighters fight with worse cuts, and I mean fight, not just stay in the fight. The man in your avitar is one of them, when Judah gives up halfway through a fight because of his cuts or whatever reason he's a ***** but when Jones does it it's ok because he atleast finished the fight, even though he wasnt trying to win? Jones has heart dont get me wrong, but he didnt show any on Sat. is all I said, because of the respect I have for him I blame it more on lack of motivation, but only Jones knows the truth.

Judah has heart. he's shown it before particularly in the Cotto fight.

I blame it on old man age. When you get to a certain age you aren't going to take a beating. Hell even Gatti looked like a ***** in his last fight.

          It happens to old people.

Possibly, but I still think the "heart" can go down based on where you are Physically and Mentally. I would say everbody, but Evander still has it, although he does have one of the two left, Mentally. I think it is the God factor.

Yeah i guess your right, I dont want people to take my posts as if im trashing roy. It's just that I feel dissapointed and let down, I expected more out of him. I didn't really expect him to win, but atleast competitiveness. My father in law thought I was crazy because of the way I was screaming at the tv for Roy to throw a punch that never came while Calzaghe was sticking his chin out and clowning on him.

Jones showed his heart. he didn't fight back well....When Joe was leaning his head in I was thinking WTF?? Why isn't Roy throwing punches? He showed some heart by staying in there and not calling the fight. he did the best he could and that is all you can ask of any fighter. We are used to seeing a different Roy and that Roy is long gone. his eye was busted pretty badily. his corner had no answeres for him when he asked for them. They could stop the bleeding nor could they do muchy more then wipe him off and give him some water. He needed advice and he needed someone to work his cut. Roy was all but done and he kept coming out for the next round. That takes heart my friend....Lefty

Going 12 rounds with a fighter like Calzaghe and having a huge cut shows massive heart.

Props to Roy. He was an amazing fighter back in his day.

When you are attempting to fight and consistently get countered back and beaten to the punch its hard to just stay aggressive because most of the time you end of getting knocked out. Roy realized his speed was gone during this fight and he was just trying to time Calzaghe for another big shot, but he never could get in position to land it.
